David,
you keep losing a sale with me year after year because still no Smith Chart. The otherwise nice product is missing this vital feature for RF/microwave.

did you have a chance to implement this one?

Reading extents for the second scale

Hi,
is there a way to read the Y extents of the second scale? Using JPlotJr and DPLotLib.dll. The first scale I can read with the DPM object. Thks.

Barchart baseline

Hi, trying a barchart on a plot with negative Y values. It seems DPlot draws the bars from 0 baseline, which in my case is somewhere in the middle of Y axis. I want the bars to be drawn always from below, right from X axis, or by other words the baseline has to equal Ymin. How do I do that?

Can DPlotJr do this through DPlotLib? This is what I use, from within a VB app.

Thks.

Non-linear scales in Polar plot

Dear Admin,

it has been a while since I asked for a possibility to draw logarithmic scale in polar mode. Just checked one and a half year after, and it appears it is still not there... Is there any plans to add this? Because particularly I need to display values in dB, which can easily be a ...

OK, just look on the Internet for a few antenna radiation pattern polar plot examples, and you'll get a very good idea what I'm talking about. The trick is that the radial scale depicts relative values (which is dB in this case), not absolute. And the reference point may take any place between the ...

Antenna radiation pattern is a good example. Say, values fall in 0...-60dB range (This is another question by the way - how to label the magnitude scale with negative values - please let us now, thks). Then, the beamwidth is defined as 3dB drop in power. Now try to locate the -3dB points on a polar ...

Non linear scale in polar mode

Dear Admin,

how do I force magnitude scale in polar mode to be non linear, logarythmic for instance, or power of 4? I can't figure it out in the current version of DPlotJr. Is that possible? If not, it would be my suggestion to add this feature.

Thank you.

DPlotJr redistributable

Dear Admin,

please consider creating a DPlotJr redistribution package with no sample files, just the program itself and whatever is required for it to work properly. The sample projects you put in your existing package are great for the development, but the end users of the app that uses DPLotJr as ...

Updated help file

Hi,

I could not find recently introduced commands in the last DPlotJr beta Help file. Is there an updated help file with the new commands, like FindIntersections, documented?

Thanks
