z-axis label in 3D plot

Post by Mignard »

Hello,

Opening a .grf file created in Nov 2008 and using the current version I noticed that the label of the z-axis in a x,y,z, plot is now written in the top-bottom direction instead of the opposite, as it was before (and this was more natural and easier to read with an axis on the left of the figure). I have not found the way to get round this problem to recover the previous setting. This is the case now even for a new plot. Is it a setting or something done on purpose with the current version?

Anyway, still very productive with DPLOT.

Done more-or-less on purpose. You may notice that all axis labels are now drawn with the top of the characters towards the corresponding axis, which was the goal. Doing the opposite looks a bit odd at some orientations, particularly at azimuths that are some multiple of 90 degrees + 15 degrees or so.

I think the new default behavior is good and not something I'd want to change, but I can add an option for the Z axis label to flip it 180 degrees.
