In any text entry, turn on NumLock and type Alt+0197 on the numeric keypad: Å

PS: More generally, you can find the character code for any supported character with the Windows Character Map utility. On XP and previous versions this is most likely in your Accessories group. On Vista it isn't included on the Programs menu by default, but should be at c:\Windows\System32\charmap.exe. The code you want is shown in the lower right corner for the highlighted character. This will work with characters 32-255 (not any of the Unicode stuff).
