Receiving DPlot: Image File not found error

Hi All,
We recently purchased me computer systems and performed and upgrade to Windows 7. I have an user who had imbedded images in several of his graphs in DPlot. When he attempts to open the graph, he is receiving the error in the DPlot: Image window of: "File not found: c:\Documents and Settings\%Path to file%\My Pictures" . He is using version 2.3.1. Is there anyway to change the default path for the application to c:\users\... or is this specific to the graph. If specific to the graph, is there any way to change the path for each graph individually? He has sveral dozen graph where he has inset image files that will need to be changed to the new WIndows 7 paths.

There's no easy way to change this in DPlot once the graph is saved, sorry. You can change the path to the image using Options>Insert Image or Options>Background Image, but that of course only affects the open graph, not a collection of graphs with images.

In the future, if you move your images to the same folder where the graph will be saved before inserting the image, or if the image resides in My Documents\DPlot\Images, then the image path will not be saved to the DPlot file. When opening a DPlot file, if the image filename does not include a path then DPlot will look for the image first in the folder where the DPlot file was read from, then in My Documents\DPlot\Images.

Couldn't you edit the grf file to correct the path manually? I assume the path is visible in the grf file (more trouble if grfz, but could still be accomplished after conversion.)

With a text editor that can replace across files, this might be manageable.

Yes, I assumed the poster would have thought of that... But he woudn't if he didn't know a DPlot file is ASCII text.
