Bug in units selection

Dave,

Thanks for the 2.102 release.
Being a European I appreciate the possibility to choose metric length units,
but when selecting 'mm' in the 'Options->General' menu, the unit comes out as 'cm' in the 'Specify Plot Size' box. Similarly, when choosing 'Points', the unit comes out as 'Inch'.

Regards and thanks for a splendid piece of software

Aksel,
Those are both intentional. My thought was you wouldn't want to specify a large dimension in mm but in cm. This one I'll probably change. But points vs. inches, probably not: I've never seen points used to measure anything as large as an inch.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I don't think I would ever use 'Points', but I would like to have the 'mm' option available, since this is my preferred unit.
Not a big deal though, but more of the 'nice to have' than 'need to have'
type of wish.

Done. This will be included in the next release.

By the way it may not have been clear, but those are only the default units. You can use whatever units you want if you type the appropriate unit abbreviation following the number (pt, mm, cm, " or in), upper or lower case.
