Remove background value

I am working on a physical surface area of 40m x 40m and with the equipment I am using the background value of the area is 160000 Ohms.

I enter the data into a csv but it wont calculate unless the background value is present. The data needs to be displayed in a contour or 3D projection

Is there a way to specify that if there is a specific value of x that the color is transparent?

thanks in advance

No, sorry. If I understand what you're trying to do, the best you can do is define the border of your surface (see Options>Define Boundary) to eliminate areas that have your background value. It will probably help if you first turn on the triangle borders by checking "Borders" under "Draw" on the Contour Options dialog.

... and you might first want to try Options>Extents/Intervals/Size, check "Specify Extents", then set the Z extents outside your background value.

That works great for showing one side of the values. The issue here, besides being a total noob, is there are values above and below "x".

Wire frame type of appearance is what I want, but in solid colors (Phong)

I'm not quite sure I have the same picture in my head as you do, but you might try this - Use Edit>Operate on Z, with Z="if(Z=your background value, some value outside your extents,Z)". Then use Options>Extents/Intervals/Size to clip those values.

Thanks for the help, I am going to work around the issue for the moment due to some extreme time constraints.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure we're not quite on the same page as far as what you want to plot. If you can send me an example picture it's possible that you can already do what you want... or if you can't that I can change a few things to get you there.
