persistent pop-ups due to an interaction with undo/redo

I frequently ctrl-z and ctrl-y to go back and forth between different views of my data. This is a very convenient capability of the program.

If I hover over a data point, a yellow pop-up is displayed which shows information about the pop-up. This is quite useful. But, if I press ctrl-z or ctrl-y while this is displayed, the pop-up stays and cannot be dismissed without exiting d-plot entirely.

I've learned to avoid doing this for the most part. Once in a while I slip-up, and over time these build up on my screen.

This may be a frequently reported problem. But it didn't show up in my searches.

You can turn off popups in the options. It's about the middle of the dialog - Show Coordinates...

I rely on the the pop-ups. I just want them to go away when I'm done looking at them.

What version are you using? David Hyde has worked quite hard to clean those up over many revisions, but I agree, they do pop up and stay every once in a while.

If you have the latest version, 2.2.1.3, and you can recreate the steps, David will probably find and fix it quickly. However, I do think there is some interaction with video drivers, and that could be the problem too.

I am using 2.2.1.3. I updated yesterday before reporting any problems today.

Luke,
Thanks. I'll look into it.
