David,
I've generated some "colorfull mountains", that I am happy with. Saved the graphs and associated date as .grf. When I open the file it comes up as I saved it, a coutour plot. I could not find a way to switch from the countour plot to the 2d xy flat plot or some other plot. Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to start from scratch?
If I have to start from scratch, how do I copy the data I generated with the countour plot format, to the new one? I tried selecting the data in edit data, no go. Must be something easy that I'm missing.

Michael,
If I understand what you're asking, just select Options>Contour Options (or equivalently right-click on the plot and select "Contour Options"), then uncheck the "View in 3D" box.

I am getting the hang of it, but still have the desire to copy the interpolated date in my countour plot and paste it into a different plot. Is there some way to do this like I tried cntrl A, cntrl C and paste from the clipboard?
Thanks,
Michael
