one last note: when I try to save a .clr file in DPlot and the file extension is showing in the file extension choice window below, the file is saved with NO EXTENSION. That is, I have to go to where it's saved and rename it with a .clr extension. Tiresome...

Hi Dave,

I just found the problem. It was as you surmised - somehow nearly all the files weren't being saved with .clr extensions. When I renamed the files to include the .clr extension, they all appeared.

Still having issues with the file name on the plot in spite of deleting the default.set file ...

I apologize for not being clearer in my first query. I meant to say:

The problem is, when I try to open up an existing list of saved files in this folder,

" using the OPTIONS/CONTOUR OPTIONS/COLOR/CUSTOM/OPEN sequence"

it only shows me a single file ...

I'm doing some simple bathymetry mapping using the shades and lines combination and would like to put station locations just as simple white circles (of adjustable size) for a given location. I've tried to look through the help sections but can't seem to locate such a possibility. Any help here ...
