Adding a new plot to an existing Plot

Post by kthoma85 »

I have a plot with 6 curves. I would like to add a straight line to shown some correlations to some known data. How can I add this straight plot? I tried coping the data and pasting it. It shows up in my curves list but I can not see the plot.

Kevin,
First be sure you haven't forced the extents using Options>Extents/Intervals/Size. In other words, uncheck the "Specify extents" box.

If that isn't the problem then my best guess is your new curve, for some reason, has the line and symbol styles set to "None". You can check this with Options>Symbol/Line Styles.

If neither of those hints help, please save your plot as a DPlot file and send it to me at support@dplot.com.

I'm confused. Are you saying you solved your problem by using a reference line (Options>Reference lines)? Or that you've been using that feature all along and the line doesn't show up?
