XY Label problems

Post by wim »

Hey there, three things that i discovered the last week

1.)
when a existing label is edited (e.g. the point or curve the label belongs to is changed in the XY Label Menu) it sometimes seems to be gone/deleted. But when you click with the mouse in the position where it should be (not where it was, but where labels are after editing, see second point) you see only a black frame and can move the label. After moving the label it is completely is visible again.

2.)
If you move a label and edit it (move the point, change curve), it always goes back to its origin position, which is directly on the point the label belongs to.
So you always have to drag it back to the position it came from...

3.)
when i create a new label it sometimes happens that every new label is complete black. after a restart of dplot the problem is gone

I don't see any of those problems but will take a closer look. What version of DPlot are you running and on what version of Windows?

I've tried several different things on a couple of systems and so far am having no (bad) luck with this. It is possible that there's something peculiar about your graph that I'm not handling correctly. If you can save a trouble-making graph to a DPlot file and send it to me at support@dplot.com it might be helpful.

What about making the Curve Labels movable like the Legend Box?
