A friendly reminder for licensed users

Post by DPlotAdmin »

If you've signed up for the mailing list, update messages are sent to the e-mail address you provided on the same night as every update. Yes, they are, be quiet :-). If you've signed up for the mailing list then mail is being sent to you, until and unless the mail is returned with an 'invalid address' error. The last update notice was sent out last night (9 May 2005). If you are not receiving those update messages, it is almost certainly because your or your ISP's spam blocking software is erroneously blocking those messages. This might be because the software doesn't like support@dplot.com, or it might be because the update notices contain a link (which is, of course, the entire point of the update notice). In the latter case, if your spam blocker gives you an option to not automatically block mail containing links, you'll of course need to select that option. If your spam blocker doesn't like support@dplot.com... well, tell it to lighten up.

If this is any help, update message headers will have:
Return path: <support@dplot.com>
From: HydeSoft Computing <support@dplot.com>
Sender: HydeSoft Computing <support@dplot.com>

If you're a licensed user and have changed e-mail addresses, click support@dplot.com with subject="DPlot mailing list" and include your name and registration number in the body of the message to subscribe with your new address.

Thanks :-)
