Backbone Curve

Not finding a thing in the help file or the manual about the backbone curve command. It has become handy, but I'd like to know a little more about how it is calculated, and it's limitations, if any.

There isn't much to it. All it is doing is finding the maximum Y value within every "bin size" in X units.
