How to create a plot like "ex12.grf"

I need to be able to create design curves of the form seen in "ex12.grf" that comes with the installation. I can figure most of how the plot was created, but I can't figure out how the plot was made to generate the curve labels all around the edge of the box. Could someone help me out with this?

Select Text>Legend/Labels. Those labels were entered in the Curve label box.

I'll try to remember to add a "How was this plot created" gizmo for that example (and all others that don't currently have one) in the next release.
