Color change going from a dplot image to CS3
I've run into a color problem that should not be. I print out a scatter plot with various color baloons, one of which is a pure blue. I've printed it out in TIF, GIF and JPG. When I open any of these files in Adobe CS3 the blue baloons come out distinctly violet, not at all like the sapphire blue in ...

Idea for anchoring the scatter plot balls
David,
The idea of my using the bar chart in place of the 3D space of x,y,z point of z height on an x,y grid is to tie the points to the x,y grid to help visually locate them in the 3D space.
I just thought of another idea that would accomplish the same thing in a cleaner, and I imagine easier to ...

line style and color change not updated in Legend
Using the x,y plot, when I change the line format (style or color) by right clicking on a curve, the legend key does not update. And I have not found a way to edit the key's style or color in the legend directly.
It might have something to do with the fact that I did a get preferences of a 3 curve ...

Getting data generated in dplot exported to a spread sheet
I need some help with a useful feature or plug-in that I hope exists, but cannot find. It is a way to export x,y data in column form to a spread sheet or comma delimited txt that could be imported into a spread sheet like exel.
For instance, I use exel and the plug in feature to bring x,y data ...

Width/thickness of grid lines
I couldnt fine a way to increase the width/thickness of the grid lines. The default width is so thin that it is missing in places on the countour plot surface.
I found a line width macro command, where the 0 argument is the grid lines, but do not know how to run a macro from the dplot program ...

Re: If I understand what you're asking, just select Options>Contour Options (or equivalently right-click on the plot and select "Contour Options"), then uncheck the "View in 3D" box.

switching among plot types
David,
I've generated some "colorfull mountains", that I am happy with. Saved the graphs and associated date as .grf. When I open the file it comes up as I saved it, a coutour plot. I could not find a way to switch from the countour plot to the 2d xy flat plot or some other plot. Is there an easy ...

I've never seen anything close to it for such an unbelievable price. There is nothing to touch it for less than ...
